Artificial Cervical Disc

Invention; a novel artificial cervical disc design as single piece. It can rotate 360° on its own axis and 10° motion in each main axis allowing natural movement of spine. The single-piece design simplifies surgery while minimizing risks for the patient. It is also much more durable than other implants in case of trauma. The unique design also ensures uniform load distribution preventing deterioration in adjacent discs.

Patent is granted in USA, Germany, France, England, Spain, Italy, and Turkey.


Global market size in 2015 was $392 million and is expected to reach $1.08 billion by 2020. By 2020, US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil Markets are expected to reach $625 million and Europe, Middle East, and Africa Markets are expected to reach $298 million.

Licensing Status

In 2013, Turkish patent is licensed to Medicon for Turkish Market and they sucessfully sell is as a product with CE Mark since 2015. Licensing for other countries are available.
